Join us to serve our NYC neighbors at The Father’s Heart Ministries. Hunger Prevention Program consists of a soup kitchen and food pantry, open every Saturday except the first Saturday of the month from 8:30 AM to 11 AM. Approximately 1,000 people or more are fed during this time. They are served eggs, potatoes, cereal, bread, fruit, juice, coffee and milk.​

Guests also receive a food pantry bag, which supplies emergency and supplemental food in grocery bags.

Schedule:

7:30 AM: Volunteers arrive + Light breakfast available +Preliminary tasks

7:50 AM: Volunteer Orientation + The day's assignments are given

8:30 AM: Doors open to our guests

11:00 - 11:30 AM: Clean up + Volunteer dismissal (please stay for the dismissal)
